Welcome to L’Ami du Moucheur Inc., a family business passionate about information on the practice and techniques of fly fishing. The team has worked since 1990 at its premises in the Notre-Dame-Ouest street in Trois-Rivières (Mauricie, province of Québec). Quebec, Canadian, American, European and others elsewhere in search of better knowledge of fly fishing are discovering year after year the quality of service and courtesy of employees of that company specializing proud, founded and implemented in 1984 by Mister Paolo Levasseur and in recent years, as warmly and well managed by his son Martin. Guideline is originally a Norwegian fly fishing brand. We have designed and developed fly fishing equipment since 1991. The Guideline brand was established in 1993. From the first Guideline fly rods and the ground-breaking shooting heads introduced under the name Power Taper™, our product range has grown to contain almost anything you need in modern fly fishing. In 2001 we established our Swedish office and expanded our international business. We take great pride in designing and developing all our tackle and clothing in-house from idea to prototype, testing and final production. Today we are a Scandinavian company selling and distributing to more than 25 countries.

Visit the restored Elora Mill and Spa, or zipline over the Elora Gorge. If you are still looking for more we are 12 minutes to Fergus for the Fergus Scottish Festival and Templin Gardens. St Jacob’s Farmers Market is nearby, with the St Jacob’s Country Playhouse for the live theatre preformances. The world’s largest Maple Syrup Festival is just a short drive to Elmira, ON. Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo festivals are also within 30 min drive.
